Students achieved excellent results in the separate sciences, with 100% securing grades 9–4 in Biology, Chemistry and Physics. Strong outcomes were also achieved in History, where 86% gained grades 9–4, alongside 85% in English Literature and 81% in Religious Studies to name a few.
There were also several outstanding individual performances. Harmonie achieved eight grades at 7–9, including five grade 9s. Maria secured eight grades at 7–9, including three grade 9s. Amara and Khadijah each achieved eight grades at 7–9, while Asma gained seven grades at 7–9, including two grade 9s. Betsy achieved six grades at 7–9, including two grade 9s.
Headteacher Andy English commented on the results: “I am proud of our students and the strong results they have achieved through their hard work and commitment. I am particularly pleased with the significant improvements across a number of curriculum areas and the many exceptional individual performances. I would also like to thank our parents and staff for their continued efforts and support for our young people.”
Ms Walker, Head of Year 11, praised the students saying: "It has been an absolute privilege to have watched this incredible year group grow from Year 7 to Year 11. I am immensely proud of the hard work, resilience and achievements they have shown throughout their journey. Each of them has faced challenges, grown in confidence and developed into the young people they are today.
To witness them collecting their GCSE results and receiving the rewards for all their hard work, dedication and perseverance is a truly special and proud moment. Seeing how far they have come since Year 7 makes this achievement even more meaningful.
As they now take their next steps, I have every confidence that they will go on to achieve great things, whatever path they choose to follow. It has been an honour to be their Head of Year, and I will always be proud to call them my Year group.
May God bless each and every one of them, guide their steps and give them success, happiness and fulfilment in all that they do."
